Floppy Posted December 11, 2007 Share Posted December 11, 2007 Hey I need to know if it is Pro or Home that beeing installed.There are some applications that I only instal for pro, and I use the same $OEM$ for Home&Pro.So during install I need to know the diffrent!So far I have "read" the C:\WINDOWS\system32\EULA.TXT and forWinXP Pro it says "EULAID:XPSP2_RM.0_PRO_OEM_NO"WinXp Home it says "EULAID:XPSP2_RM.0_HOM_OEM_NO"WinXP Corp "EULAID:XPSP2_RM.0_PRO_RTL_NO"It works,but Iam looking for a better way to achieve my goal Any ideas!!!?? neo Posted December 11, 2007 Share Posted December 11, 2007 Open your CD and look for these filesWIN51IC for Windows XP Home EditionWIN51IP for Windows XP Professional In pre-installed XP...Right click on My Computer --> ManageSelect Computer Management and click on Action menu --> PropertiesIts show origianl info about Windows as well as your hardware information.Some times people edit sysdm.cpl using ResHacker and modifiy Windows version from System Properties control panel aaplet...but It works always...!
