tlaiho Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Hi,I would like to know how to integrate all possible software to windows installation disk...I wonder if it is possible to integrate a program like Rhino to a slipstreamed windows XP installation disk...If I use Windows Updates Downloader by Jean-Sebastian Carle how do I know that the updates are coming from Microsoft and are genuine and not hacked in order to create security holes for hackers?Does anybody know how to block windows XP so that the microsoft guys who has the really secret codes to brake into any windows XP installation cannot do that...You know...Windows XP is not safe but there are many ways brake into...I may sound paranoid...but its true. :-)I do not want to insult anybody with my questions but I just want to be sure...

S.SubZero Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I would like to know how to integrate all possible software to windows installation disk...I don't think there is a single disk of any size possible that can hold ALL POSSIBLE software for Windows. You're talking hundreds of thousands of applications.
Arie Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I would like to know how to integrate all possible software to windows installation disk...See the reply above.I wonder if it is possible to integrate a program like Rhino to a slipstreamed windows XP installation disk...I don't know this specific application, but anyway, most applications can be installed at T13 via SVCPACK.INF for example. If I use Windows Updates Downloader by Jean-Sebastian Carle how do I know that the updates are coming from Microsoft and are genuine and not hacked in order to create security holes for hackers? You could use a network monitor to make sure, but if you're this concerned, why would you even bother using this application and why wouldn't you simply download all updates manually yourself from the Microsoft web site?Does anybody know how to block windows XP so that the microsoft guys who has the really secret codes to brake into any windows XP installation cannot do that...You're paranoid. You know...Windows XP is not safe but there are many ways brake into...I may sound paranoid...but its true. :-)There are many ways if you don't configure your machine properly, if you don't install the required updates, if you don't install the appropriate software such as an anti-virus solution, et cetera. In other words, if you're the fault in your setup, your machine is unsafe.Actually, I don't believe that you're not paranoid, I believe that you're simply unaware and unknowing. No offense. It seems to me like you've been indoctrinated by the media.
