Outlook 2003 send/receive

On the standard toolbar, the button labeled send/receive, no longer works. On tools>Options>Mail setup tab>send/receive> send/receive button here will not switch to allow setting time intervals. Email is still working, for now.

Any ideas? I looked through the searches here and seen nothing, even googled and found no clues, Done the detect and repair, nothing

Reboot seems to be what she wanted all along, go figure. Now working,
