windows 2003 without media player

Hi all

Has anybody found a way to install 2003 server without Windows media player installing itself . I've managed to remove all components from the start menu using the unattend file except for wmp and some accessiblitity programs which I can remove manually via the registry.

Ive hit a bit of a wall with wmp however. I had a google around but couldnt find anything useful.

Any ideas anyone?

Sorry I should have mentioned - I need to do it without installing N-lite if possible (ie either through the unattend file or via the registry)

But why?

nLite does it's work PRE-Install and removes the components before you install your copy of windows.

Thanks for your reply. Do you know how N-lite goes about removing Windows media player.? I'm trying to perform a fully manual automated install without the use of 3rd party tools, preferably just using winnt.sif,registry tweaks etc on a floppy disk.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
