Outlook 2007 - schedules in 2008 all times are tentative

I have a user who is trying to schedule meetings for several people into 2008. For all the individuals required to attend the meeting, their schedules up to and including December 31 2007 have meetings booked with free time showing. From January 1 2008 forward, all the times for all the days are marked as tentative. I've tried this on my computer and get the same thing.

Is there an update or patch that we need to be able to set schedules into 2008? I'm befuddled...
