DL.
I tried this and must say not good well, the registry tweaks. Because I don't have a really fast internet connection, but prior to the reg. tweaks I was at about 3800kb/s after the reg. tweaks you provided it knocked me down to about 823kb/s. The visual tweaks worked very well though.Wondering if anyone else had that problem?Very strange, none of those tweaks should have any direct effect on the internet speeds. How did you test the speed? Speeds may fluctuate at times. You should re-test the speeds, are you sure you didn't do anything else at the same time? Do you mean you had 3800 kb/s (kilobit) or kB/s (kilobyte)? 3800 kB/s (kiloByte/s) is quite fast. You could try increasing the "...Timeout"-values, set them to at least 3000. Vishal Gupta
Exactly. The registry tweaks have nothing to do with Internet speed. They are just to increase menu speed, shorten hung application kill timeout, etc.Its just a co-incidence that you faced slow net speed after applying those tweaks.
