artistar Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 I often use Excel workshhets embedded in Word documents and now i cannot do one little thing - well, i want to link the result from a worksheet to some place in a word document so that result, changed in worksheet, automatically change itself in work document too.Well, i did this and it didn't work out -> selected the result in worksheet - Right click - "Copy" - focused myself back to Word view - Home - Paste - Paste special - Paste link - HTML format - and then i got that result in Word. But when i go to worksheet again and change the selected result, it doesn't automatically update itself in word, although under "Links" the "Automatic update" option is selected....What am I doing wrong? Thanx in advance.
NukedWhale Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 That's a good question, I've had issues with linked documents myself. I think what you'll need to do is force the update in word every time you need the word document updated. Edit->Links
