Ok followed the guide using nlite so I could add SATA drivers so I can revert my laptop to Xp from Vista. I followed the guide and all I did was to add the SATA drivers from the floppy drive. I finished making the ISO file then burned too CD. Upon inserting into my laptop I wasn't sure whether I had to press the F6 key so I decided not too. Upon the cd getting to the screen giving me 3 option I clicked on the install one but got the usual screen saying no storage device was detected. So I rebooted and pressed the F6 key this time but as you may suspect it's asking for a floppy. Where did things go wrong? I told nlite to use the PNP option at the drivers stage or should I have just left it as text? Any help much appreciated.

If you integrated the drivers, there is no need to press F6 during setup. Your drivers will be picked up automatically then.
