Windows Fax and scan problem

Hi everyone.

we've been using a Vlite CD for a few months now which has been invaluable as Microsoft only supply us with non-booting upgrade cds (something to do with our KMS contract).

Unfortunately I've just realised that the Fax and Scan program isn't functioning on any of the installs. I need to try and find a way of getting it working without reinstalling Vista on a load of machines.

The error message is WFS.exe - Application error

The exception unknown software exception (0xc06d007e) occurred in the application at location 0x7774b09e.

I've tried removing the fax component and the adding it again from the control panel but no luck..

Any one have any bright ideas?
