Ambassador Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Instructions:To install Desktop Lite, right-click the caption bar and select "Install" from the context menu. Click "Uninstall" to revert back to "Explorer" (the familiar Windows desktop). You must Log Off for changes to take effect. What does this mean?http://nymtec.com/?q=desktoplite
Arie Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 I don't quite understand your question, as the quote you posted seems clear to me, eventhough I don't know this application. Apperantly, according to the text you quoted, you start the application and you right-click on the caption bar, which is the title bar at the top, and you select "Install" from the context menu to install the application. Apperantly running the software does not install it, which means that if you run it now and you reboot your machine, it will not start automatically I assume. By installing it, the software will start automatically. If you wish to uninstall the software, right-click on the caption bar of the application again and choose "Uninstall" to remove the software. What is not clear about this?
Ambassador Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 Ah thanks. I thought it was refering to when you right-click on .INF files and hit install.
