Windows Vista Lite Upgrade

The question is, that i have a original cd key of windows vista ultimate upgrade.

now I want to use that cd key, but I have to upgrade from xp to vista ultimate.

but I dont want the full crap of windows, so now I want to know, can i use a lite version to upgrade from xp to vista ultimate???
