Office 2003 Theme/colors + Vista = Yuck. Change?

Featured Replies

Can someone please tell me how to be able to change the color scheme/theme *within* Office 2003 once it is installed on Vista? I can't find any way to change it. With XP, the theme within Office matched whatever theme you set for the desktop (e.g. blue, silver, green). Now I am stuck at the default yuck blue and wish to change it.

Thanks in advance.

yeah aplications that use windows in windows kinda interface (Paint shop pro) revert to the vista basic theme too (the light baby blue color)

I found a workaround for Paint shop and i just confirmed that it has an effect on Office 2k3 apps as well

Thats Frontpage 2003 (its the only thing on the machine that hasnt been updated to 2007) and it still isnt perfect but at least it ain't blue :)

Youll need to install a 3rd party 'basic' theme (not an aero theme) here is the one i use:
