Integrating Patches

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hello!

I am trying to integrate the various patches for XP-32 into an installer disc that already has SP2 slipstreamed into it. This disc already has a software key & other settings integrated into it, so I'm not interested in doing anything other than patching the disc.

I downloaded the latest version of Autopatcher (no longer available for download) and copied the patches included into a separate folder. nLite seemed to correctly run those patches and integrated them into a new ISO, but when I install the ISO in Virtual PC, the automatic update tool says it needs to install the exact updates I supposedly integrated!

Any ideas what I doing wrong or what I could do differently? Thanks! :thumbup

rawrbear, that shouldn't happen, maybe you should retry it. Use clean XP installation files, be sure that Direct Integration is enabled in the nLite - Hotfixes - Advanced options.

Yup, it was the autopatcher's files that were failing, not the itegrator. The links from the user above results in a clean, updated XP SP2 ;)

Thanks!
