Help! File/Save defaults to other computer on network

Featured Replies

I've got a laptop and desktop set up on a home network. When I do a "Save As" on my laptop, it always goes to my desktop instead - same thing with File-Open. Its defaulting to the other machine. I've tried changing the options in word for saving files, but it still does it... what am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Thanks.... I use crap cleaner frequently and it hasn't changed the prob - maybe I don't have it set right, I'll check - but I'm assuming its some kind of default thats set wrong? No?

Thanks again... I'll try those links, but I've got Office 2003. Just ran ccleaner again and the recently used files wasn't checked, so I checked it. Maybe I need to restart afterwards or something
