atari37 Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Usually, when you plug in a USB device with pictures, Windows pops up a little window with options on how and which application to open the pictures with. Where can I find this config in Windows?
spacesurfer Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Plug in your USB. Then right click. Go to properties tab or go through all the tabs. There should be a tab that tells you what to do when you plug this USB in.
atari37 Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 The option to prompt with options is already checked. What could be causing it to not work.
nmX.Memnoch Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 AutoPlay is probably disabled. Is the computer a member of a domain?
atari37 Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 AutoPlay is probably disabled. Is the computer a member of a domain?Yes, it's on a domain but this is the only computer that can't get autoplay to work. It is enabled on the local workstation. Is there another configuration in Windows that I'm not aware off. I checked the configuration but checking the properties for the usb flash. I plugged the flash drive into another PC and viola, the prompt came up right away.
