dial up don't connect whats wrong?

the modem dials up the server.

the server checks name and password.

the server sends back error 691, does not know name and password.

i have made new dial up connetions.

and have installed msn dial up software.

the msn dialup software did connect to the msn server to check

its registration and said it knew the computers owner and all was already registred. but still using that dial up software and or the other dial up connections we made or using any of the phone numbers in the area. none of the servers will allow it to connect to the web.

the modem is working. as it allowed msn's software to work.

and the modem worked just three hours prior to not working.

so do any of you know what is wrong either the computer or the server or a missing file on the computer?

and just how would i fix it.

is this a winsox error?
