I have a FIFA2002 a old version game, which i used to play, but after so long time when again i installed it to play, it run fine but whenever i start game the program get closed and the desktop comes on.

I use to change my monitor resolution too but it does not solve my problem. And now only mine, but also the friends' computer who played that game in there computer nicely before were unable to start game. We all get same problem, Game started it also shows the menu ,

but unable to run the game.

You could try updating it with the latest patch from the EA site.
