How 2 Change "Post Screen"

I want to change the post screen which display during boot time. Before detecting hard-disk or removable drive.

Just like Intel shows there brand logo at beginning.

I want to change that screen. How can i do that

Cause, i m using a brand which used Intel board n chipset but during boot at post screen it shows the different logo in place of intel logo...

So how can I change that

i found a small software, it could help me to change the post screen but it says it will work with dell so i m not sure that it will work with other or not.

All you have to do is create a 16color bitmap file 640x480res and save it on your floppy disk that you will create using that program. When you boot from floppy it will start ms-dos and you will need to type:

splash "name of file"

Replace "name of file", with your filenamed of course. And you are good to go! Hope this helps some people. I ran it on my dell c400 latitude laptop and it worked perfectly.
