rjacobsen
I have set up an ad hoc network with two desktops and one laptop, and an ADSL router (DSL-500T). I can share files and printers among them, but only the server can access the Internet, despite ICS configured on the wired NIC (IP 10.1.1.2) of the server. Every computer can ping each other, but except by the server, no one can ping the ADSL router (IP 10.1.1.1). They are all configured to receive IPs and DNS server info automatically. nitroshift
You need to specify the gateway for all the pc's except the server (which is the gateway).
rjacobsen
No, it didn't work. I tried either using the wired NIC's address, 192.168.0.2, or the router's 192.168.0.1 as the gateway, none worked.
