Download & Install Problem

When I download Microsoft GDI + Detection Tool (KB 873374) & install it,after the computer is rebooted the computer goes into constant start up loop.

This keeps going as long as the computer has power to it.If you shut down the computer from the mains power & turn the power on again it continues to do the same.

I have the computer set for auto downloads for Windows XP.

Can anyone offer any help or suggestions on this Please

Hit F8 during boot up repeatedly until you get a choices menu. Restore the Last Known Good.
