Standby/Hibernate problem

XPpro/Sp2 fully updated.

I use a Router (Speedtouch 780WL) with LAN and normally get download speeds of around 9 MB/sec (Bulldog 16 MB/sec)

However when coming out of Standby or Hibernation the download speed drops to 2 to 3 MB/sec

I can recover by either re-booting or by re-starting my Router

This has happened on 3 separate computers

Anyone have any knowledge as to why this occurs and whether there is a fix
