Exorcist464 Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 So, I bought Visual C++.net 2003 a while ago, before I had the x64 OS. When i got x64 and tried to install VC++ it said i did not have a FrontPage extension installed. So i tried to use the Pre-Req CD that came with it, but it was for 2000/xp and was not compatible. When i tried to DL it online, Microsoft said i needed a full version of Office to get it. Now... I dont have Office on my compouter, so I don't know how to get it. I really dont want to have to spend money on buying Office for some FrontPage extension I should have got for the program i bought. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do? Any help would be great - Thanks
nmX.Memnoch Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 FrontPage Server Extensions are installed when you install IIS. I believe it'll be FPSE 2000 though. After you install IIS, you can download FPSE 2002 from Microsoft. Here's the link for the x64 version.
Exorcist464 Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 the link says i need office to download the extension. Does it just check if IIS is installed or what?
