Hi all,

a few days ago i used exmerge to export aboput 15 mailboxes to pst's, normally very convenient however, all the mailboxes i exported (yes they were under 2gb) were corrupted so i had to run scanpst on them all anyway!

what a pain in the arse, has anyone seen this happen? and more importantly does anyone know how to stop it? like is there a way to get exmerge to verify the pst's it exports or something?

I have used Exmerge hundreds and hundreds of times to do the exact task and have never had this happened.

More specifically.. What version of Exchange are you using? what version of exmerge are you using? what version of Outlook are you opening it up in?

yeah it was someones SBS 2003 server that only had 512mb of memory so im guessing that was part of the problem, i have never seen it happen before so in the back of my mind i was thinking that it was because of the poor hardware it was running on. thanks for the reply though :)

ps do anyone know if is there a way to switch on verification?
