Idontwantspam Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 Can anyone recommend a portable registry editor? Google hasn't really turned anything up. Something that could be run from a USB flash drive would be nice.
[deXter] Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 RegAlyzer. From the makers of Spybot Search & Destroy. Much better than Windows' Regedit, IMHO.
Idontwantspam Posted August 31, 2007 Author Posted August 31, 2007 Maybe I'm missing something, but neither of those look portable... Am I overlooking an option?
[deXter] Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 ^ You just have to copy the files in the \RegAlyzer folder. (There's no need to copy the unins* files._
Idontwantspam Posted September 1, 2007 Author Posted September 1, 2007 After install? OK, I'll try that. Thanks!
DigeratiPrime Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 You can also (in most cases) unpack the installers using UniExtracthttp://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=62418
jellyhead Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Take a look at Registry Workshop I'll second that. This is the best Editor IMO and after you install it, you can just copy the install folder to a USB drive.
