BlodiaInc
Hey everyone,I have a modified XP Pro SP2 installation already that I would like to use. I also have a untouched original XP Pro SP2 to help wit this process. After I installed the modified installation, I wanted to set the "Language for non-unicode programs" under the Advanced tab in the Regional & Language Settings to Korean. However, when I try to do this, I get an error: "Setup was unable to install the chosen locale. Please contact your System Administrator."I know the languages have been removed from this modified installation, but I was hoping I could just install them later through the Regional & Language settings using my untouched CD. From what I've researched, I need to add the languages I want back in to the installation or modify WINNT.SIF with the locale codes. Can someone tell me how I can add languages back into the MODIFIED installation. The modified installation has a lot of things that I want to use, but I need to Korean non-unicode support. Please tell me how to fix this non-unicode setup that avoids the "chosen locale" error. I would want to be able to change the non-unicode not only to Korean, but possibly other Asian languages, but Korean is my language of main use. Katsuki
I suggest,1.overwrite standard set up computer's c:\windows\inf\intl.infto your problematic c:\windows\inf\intl.inf2.copy standard set up computer's c:\windows\font\*.*(about 230MB)to your problematic c:\windows\font\* this is not simple copy, but font install process(alert windows will appear)3.apply locale u want..in my case..no erred, good luckThank you very much, it works for my trimmed down xp.
