Hello all;

I've a Win server 2003 machine and i use it with remote desktop. It has two ethernet adapters, one is for local lan (static ip), and other is for cable modem (DHCP - allowed connection sharing).

I can't connect to internet with Win Server 2003 machine. I can ping sites but programs (Internet Explorer, eMule vs..) can't connect to internet.

I can connect internet with this main computer (Vista). So internet connection, internet connection sharing is running.

I think programs want to connect internet on Lan, i've set gateway 192.168.1.2 (loop to win server 2003), 192.168.100.1 (Netmaster cable modem default ip), and the ip which DHCP server gives to me. But still i can't connect.

I think i must set the default internet connection as Cable ethernet adapter. Because when i close Lan adapter, i can connect to internet. But how?

If you have a default gateway configured on the internal (static) NIC, please remove it and let us know if it works.

Look at the properties of the TCP protocol on the local area connection listed in the networking applet in the control panel, and see if you have the default gateway property configured.

Oo that's gateway yes i know of course, i thought "default gateway configured on the internal (static) NIC" is different from normal adapter gateway

I can't connect to eMule servers. And emule servers don't have domain names, eMule connect them directly with the ip. But can't connect.

Also i can ping sites, for example i can ping google.com but i can't enter google.com with internet explorer.

Is IE using a proxyserver? Firewall?

No, it doesn't use any proxy server. Only Windows Firewall is enabled, but also i've tried to connect with firewall disabled, but still can't connect.

When i close lan adapter, i can connect sites. Windows wants to connect through Lan adapter, but it must use Cable adapter. Is there anyway to set it ? :/

When you remove the default gateway from the Lan Adapter, (Properties of TCP/IP) it should work.

here's what you need to do:

browse by ip. Put in http://1.1.1.1, where 1.1.1.1 is google's ip address or whatever ip address you can ping

If that works, you have a DNS issue. To confirm, statically set a public (free) dns server.

To get a free dns server search google on "public dns server".

Once you set a dns server and you can browse by FQDN (fully qualified domain name), then contact your isp to tell them their dns server is not working, because it works with a 3rd party dns server.

I said before, i can't connect to emule servers too. Emule connect servers with ip addresses, not domain names. So that i can't open connection to ip addresses. Also i can't connect to google's ip address (64.233.169.147). Problem is not a dns issue

Stupid Netlimiter's Firewall blocks connections. I disabled it before, but i see its enabled now. **** program.

I've closed the netlimiter's firewall. Now i can connect sites and ip addresses normally
