zabreen Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Hi I purchased an e-machine PC with Money 2004 embedded 3 yrs ago. 2 weeks ago , my e-machine got zapped because of an electric surge. I removed the Hard Drive and placed it in another PC.Problem #1: whenever I try to launch Money 2004 (slave drive now) , I get error message prompting me to re-install Money 2004 using a "CD" !! (I never got a CD with the e-machine !!)Problem #2: If I install Money 2006 in the Master drive , would there be a conflict when I download statements/data from bank websites ?please advise
gosh Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 There shouldn't be. I have money 2006, last week i installed money 2008 as a free trial download from microsoft's website and all went smoothly. What i would recommend is copy/backup the .mny file to another location to save.-gosh
