Printing error-please help

Since last night our print server (Win2K Server SP4) has been slow or non responsive. Often jobs get stuck in the queue with the error: The RPC server is too busy to complete this operation. Most of the queues on this server are pcounter 1.21f queues.

I’ve restarted the spooler/pcounter services and also restarted the server as we had some kind of power variation here last night. I’ve verified no time server has been set.

Anyone seen or experiencing this? Microsoft doesn’t seem to have a clue about this error except for NT4 servers.
