  1. Hi, Scripting Guru: We have several computer labs for student, the lab computer hard disk is always struggling with so many local user profiles, so students always come to help desk to ask assistant to log in, because the disk is full. So I tried to use DelPro.exe from Win2k resource kit, it works great, but I'd like to leave local administrator profile and two other manager account's profile, because some program needs them to run properly. But the problem is that Delpro.exe doesn't have an option to keep certain user's profile, so we need to write a script to delete all student's local profile (identified by student ID, 6 digits), I don't know much about scripting, so I'd like to ask whoever can write a script, please help me out. Thanks,
  2. Since last night our print server (Win2K Server SP4) has been slow or non responsive. Often jobs get stuck in the queue with the error: The RPC server is too busy to complete this operation. Most of the queues on this server are pcounter 1.21f queues. I’ve restarted the spooler/pcounter services and also restarted the server as we had some kind of power variation here last night. I’ve verified no time server has been set. Anyone seen or experiencing this? Microsoft doesn’t seem to have a clue about this error except for NT4 servers.
  3. Thank you very much, that's what I found out. When I run Word or Excel seperately, the CD Key doesn't work. So I just created seperate MST file for each component.
  4. Hi, I'm a new guy. I need some help for setting up OfficeXP administrative installation point over Win2k server. I set up the installation point for the whole package(using PROPLUS.EXE)fine, but I want to set up individual component, like WordXP, ExcelXP... seperately, so user can setup individual Office component over network, but I don't know how to do that, or is there a way to set up seperate installation point for each one in the Office XP suite? Please help me! Thanks
