phil1702 Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 I have just re-re-re installed my Windows XP Pro SP2 on a KV9-MX ASUS board. On the first two installations I was able to press F6 and load drivers for the SATA hard drives (using an external floppy drive). For some reason this did not work on the third re-installation and I had to press escape to continue without the drivers. My question is will XP still recognise the drives as SATA or will I need to change the drivers or do I have to reinstall again so the drivers are picked up?
Legolash2o Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 (edited) they will recognise them as SATA's, and should pick them up automatically as long as the drivers are installed Edited August 11, 2007 by legolash2o
