Need Help Upgrading to Windows XP Pro

I have a Gateway laptop purchased from Best Buy. So yes, I'm a novice.

I'm trying to upgrade from XP Home to XP Pro and during installation I keep getting asked for the following:

OEM Setup.txt file and frivers for the Serial ATA Hard Drive Controller

Gateway support is useless and they don't have it anywhere on their website.

Any suggestion?
