Hamachi and SSL certificates

Currently using Hamachi to connect to server, was wondering if there was a way to use a legit SSL certificate. Right now im using a self signed. Just wondering, I know it's not really needed cause hamachi is 5.x.x.x but, I know somebody somewhere has a boss or client that didn't care. Thanks in advance

im not familiar with hamachi but i know of it. if the connection has a FQDN then im sure you can pay thawte or verisign ect to issue u with a certificate, however why would you need a signed over a self signed? both are as secure just one is not as trusted

Thats the problem, no FQDN to give the big security houses. I was thinking maybe there was a way to do it with DDNS because many people use them because they have DHCP addresses from their ISP that change ever so often, however their DNS name is updated to reflect that change. Hmmmmmmm

ddns sounds like a good idea, but you should consider a self signed ssl certificate, il post a link on how to if ur not sure on how to make one
