crass00 Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 HI All,Hoping a Vista firewall expert can help me here.I have created a batch script to setup my exceptions for vista firewall (using the netsh advfirewall firewall command) and I have everything but one crutial peice. All my exceptions are there but by default vista firewall allows everything to connect outward so they aren't very useful. I'm sure there is a command line I can use to set the block outward bound traffic but I can't find anything on the net. Currently I go into the adv firewall config and set this manually but there must be a better way. I know I could bo this with policies but I would prefer a command line option to fit in with what I have already.CheersAlex
aviv00 Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 try using regedit /s newsettingforfirewall.regat windows xp its workingits should work in vista too however the ownership might disable u to do that
