dogubit Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 I'm brand new here and I have read many topics, but I guess I'm missing something, so if someone could point me to a link or topic heading please. My question is, if I want to make my Vista Ultimate more "Lite", do I do it (running VLite) from the copy installed on the HD or do I do it from the MS Vista Ultimate DVD and make a new ISO the way I want it to be and reinstall? I would like to trim it down and then do a reinstall because my system is only an 1.8GHz with 896MB Ram and I'ed like to install XP on a new drive and then Vista after that to have a duel boot system. I have some software/games that Vista doesn't like. I'm sure it's posted here, but I haven't found it yet, but still looking. Thanks for reading this and any help you can offer.
anonymous_user Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Copy the files from teh Vista DVD to a folder on your disc and then run vLite on that folder. Create the ISO, burn and reinstall.
