office 2003 glitches

when recieving emails from one of my clients, her email is in english, but there's alot of strange text in them,

for example, instead of 'At' we recieve +AEA-

and here's a sample of part of an email.

but if we reply to the email, we can read it fine, it shows up normal...

any ideas? this has me baffled!
