The Living Legend Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I put my ABIT IC7-G into a new case a while ago and installed Vista Ultimate. Now I cannot capture video using the firewire port on the machine or use my firewire card reader. When I connect a firewire memory card to the port the light comes on indicating that power is going to the device. The device manager reports that the OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 host controller device is working properly – same goes for the Texas instruments host controller. The firewire devices have these details for the two controllers: PCI bus 3, device 5, function 2. PCI bus 3, device 2, function 0The BIOS is up to date and I have downloaded INTEL drivers for the motherboard i875.Machine specs are:ABIT IC7-G, P4 3.2 Northwood, 2 X 512 MB OCZ Dual Channel Gold PC3700, Sapphire Radeon X1950 Pro AGP, Energmax Liberty 620, Samsung 226BW widescreen monitor, 40 GB Seagate Barracuda, 80 GB Seagate Barracuda, SATA: 250GB Hitachi Deskstar, 500GB Seagate Barracuda, Sony DVD-ROM drive, 6 PCI slots, 3 X S-FLEX 120mm Fan 800 RPM.Catalyst 7.4/ Intel 875P drivers.I have checked lots of forums and no one seems to have encountered my problem.I’d really appreciate someone's help.
