Hello,

What is the registry to make Windows XP show the Shutdown menu when pressing the power button?

Right now, XP simply starts shutting down when pressing that button.

and scroll down to ---> Set Monitor to NEVER turn off, and "When I press my power button" to "Ask me what to do"

personally, i wouldn't trust it, but you might give it a try.
