Sirricharic Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 my drivers.cab for some reason is messed up i cant use my usb port or anything they say Code 10 device cannot start and when i reinstall windows it says driver.cab is invalid or something like that i read the post here about the cabarc thing but when i type it in using command prompt it says its not a command can soneone tell me how to fix my driver.cab
cluberti Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 If you've still got your Windows installation CD, you should be able to find any driver.cab files on disk and replace them with the one from the CD. If it's complaining about the file from the installation media, however, you'll likely have to "borrow" identical media from a colleague to replace your damaged media.
