plz someone help me fix it i need this badly

i had windows home and everything is was working fine but i upgraded to professional and all my usb ports stoped working it says Code: 10 device cannot start all the time for my usb ports

when i boot up my computer i have to end the process explorer.exe for it to open my desk top or wait 25 mins for it to load how do i fix this problem

it downloaded on my computer from the cd corrupted plz help me im so frutrated and im getting in big trouble if its not fixed

my drivers.cab for some reason is messed up i cant use my usb port or anything they say Code 10 device cannot start and when i reinstall windows it says driver.cab is invalid or something like that i read the post here about the cabarc thing but when i type it in using command prompt it says its not a command can soneone tell me how to fix my driver.cab
