I'm trying to add address bar to explorer's toolbar (windows explorer not internet explorer)

and remove some of the icons and lock the toolbars

and then set the folder options to for all folders?

you can always use RegShot.

just take a shot before. make changes then take another shot.

that looks like it came from under the modified part.

the first entry is what it was and the second is what it turned into.

this is how i do it.

i open regedit find the key it is talking about.

highlight it. export it somewhere.

open the exported.reg file with edit. pick around take out what i dont need and leave in what i want changed.

save it as a new .reg file.

then if you want to test it out. change back what you wanted changed. run the .reg file and see what happens. keep the exported .reg just in case if you think you might mess something up.
