wph Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 I recently purchased a Philips LX-2000 PC to use as a home theater PC. The PC uses the Mobile Intel 945GM/GU chipset and Vista Home Premium. My TV is a Samsung 32" LCD with a native resolution of 1360 x 768. This is not one of the resolutions in the dropdown in the display settings dialog. There are lower and higher resolutions and regardless what I select, the output is not scaled correctly - either I get a small display in the middle of the TV or it overfills the TV and I loose about an inch of data on all four sides. This means no task bar at the bottom and no menu bar at the top.The TV is not recognized by model - only as a generic PNP. On my old HTPC, the TV was recognized as a Samsung and it set up at native resolution without problem. That machine is running XP-MCE and a GE Force graphics card.Is there a solution?
ian51 Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Hi WPH,Did you find a solution to this problem. I have exactly the same setup and can't get it right.
