jpatto Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 With the recent excitement of WS2008 i thought to install a second installation on another test machine. Only problem is that it has 256MB of ram so installation doesnt let me continue. Is there a way around this? I know it may not be performing well etc but just like to begin installing it?Thanks
marxo Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 To bypass the System Check use /nosyscheck switch. Run setup from first windows (u need to have windows) and run it as Setup.exe /nosyscheck
fizban2 Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 if you want to boot from the DVD you will need 512 in the machine, that is a requirement of the WinPE. but the No syscheck will work if you starting the installation from a previous OS, i wouldn't recommend 2008 on a machine though with 256, it won't be pleasant at all...
