Connection to the host was lost (FIXED)

Featured Replies

Hello, recently i am having a strange problem with youtube videos downloads, they stop downloading due to connection loss and restarting them will only make them redownload from start and again lose connection in the middle :(. I have dialup and i use freedownload manager. I recently installed RP 7 and orbit downloader and then uninstalled orbit downloader, i doubt that any of these have to do with my problem.

Can anybody help me thanks.

.FIXED.

I fixed it myself. I am using Firefox, so what i had to do is to download this Video acceleartor (Optional) and let the Youtube video run in the browser window. Then i would go to about:cache in the firefox and find the video file, and just rename that file from x:\windows\application data\firefox\profile\xxxxxxx\cache folder.

It worked and strangely no lose of connection takes place while playing the video in the browser.
