Windows 64 Bit failure

Recommended Posts

created a 64bit windows Enterprise nlite Disk.

I have been looking through the forum, and can not find a lot of info on this. i have tried 4 times, the last, just using nlite and unattended build, but

everytime i run it, i get a BSOD, but the error is just a stop code, nothing else, the web, just talks about hard disk. I am using a IBM server Raid 6m,

which is supported by Windows. I tried the original windows 64 bit CD and that installed fine on the machine. But the nlite version, just Blue Screen.

I am using the E64T chip, but i can not get the enlite to work..

Any one got any ideas..it may not be an nlite problem... BUT..... :sneaky:

Well not many replies so far..

I have tried creating an iso from the original 64 bit cd and looking at the files in that and the files

that nlite creates. I found around 6 files, with different dates, so i copied thoses in to the good 64 bit image, cut

to cd and tried again... Failure again

has any one tried 64 bit????

I'm having the exact problem when using Nlite to integrate the 64-bit RAID drivers into the Windows 2003 (R2/SP2) 64-bit server setup cd then booting from the CD the Hard drives are not found. The 32-bit works fine and if I add the same 64-bit drivers from a floppy during setup it installs fine also, any thoughts? The system is a Dell Power edge 2950 with a Perc5i Raid controller.

zxe, don't act like whole 64bit on all hardware doesn't work if your is having some issues with nLite.

Now, please attach your preset, especially did you remove any IDE or SCSI drivers, something in hardware support that you need.

Integrated any textmode SATA/SCSI drivers, recheck them...

amperch, yeah you are integrating 32bit drivers.

Hello nuhi

I have used nlite to do 2003 builds fine, I tried 64 bit version, without integrating any raid drivers in, as the 64 bit supports the IBM raid card, without the need for any other integrated drivers, I tried integrating and tried without, and that’s using IBM 64 bit drivers. But I got the same error. So I did a build, just doing an unattended, no slip stream, nothing just an unattended and got a blue screen. Now shacking my head, all I can see is a few files have been changed.

I use IBM server guide, which has all the 64 bit drivers in, any help would be appreciated, I will try the F6 option to see what happens
