Tomcat76 Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 I'm not sure I like this new feature the way it's presented now. It defaults to showing two stars out of five so that leaves a false impression on people that read the posts. Wouldn't it be better to default to 0/5?
Zxian Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 I guess the two stars is supposed to signify 2.5 rounded off - a neutral vote. You're right though, in that we can't vote for zero, so if a topic hasn't been voted for, zero should be the default. I'm sure that this can be changed fairly easily.
Tomcat76 Posted June 24, 2007 Author Posted June 24, 2007 Seems that I can vote as many times as I want.. That's beside the point.
N1K Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Seems that I can vote as many times as I want.. That's beside the point. Nah, you must be kiddin', how, why, really, no, it can't be, ups, ok.I saw xper's post about this in the announcement forum, just before I opened this one, where he said that you can vote only once and that's why I wrote this in here. Anyway that issue is resolved now and I won't make any more unbound posts in this topic.
Tomcat76 Posted June 25, 2007 Author Posted June 25, 2007 Thanks for changing this. I think it's more logical this way.@N1K: When I'm smiling I'm not serious...
