1. Beautiful... It is all fixed now that I went in and editted the correct password in. Weird how things went all crazy on me just because the server went down. I appreciate your help in narrowing down what I had to go in and fix
2. So yeah, last night the server that hosts my forums went down for a few hours, when it came back up, my forums were pretty jacked up and I can't access them... If anyone with much greater knowledge on fixing this kind of thing can help guide me through what I need to do to fix this problem and get my forums back up, I would be hugely appreciative. http://tew.ithium.net/forums/index.php?act=idx Here is the error it is reporting.... Help
3. The QuickTimeInstaller is an Installshield type of install that runs MSI's. The typical Installshield command line options are the simplest method in this case. You will have to run QuickTimeInstaller.exe -r -f1 "C:\temp\setup.iss" to create an setup.iss file. Try: Run %Source%\QuickTimeInstaller.exe /L1033 -s -sms -f1"%Source%\setup.iss" -f2"%SetupLog%\%Title%.log" Forgive my extreme ignorance (I'm a complete novice at this) but when you say... it is like you are speaking in another language to me. How would I do that?
4. I've been trying to get quicktime 7.1 on my computer, but i get the message that I have to do a silent install with it. The problem is I have no idea what I'm doing. When I read these switches on the forums, I just don't know what I'm supposed to do with them. Does anyone either have an already packaged Quicktime that silently installs, or can explain how to do a silent install, including what to do with the switches. I'm quite confused. I would VERY much appreciate the help. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me
5. I'm having a problem installing itunes, and someone found this thread for me though a google search. I know it is old, but I'm hoping someone can potentially help me anyway. I'm getting this message when I try to install itunes on my friend's computer... I've read through the stuff already in this thread, and I'm completely confused to be honest. I'd really like to be able to help him get his itunes installed (I was told there was 50 bucks in it for me if I could find a solution.) If someone basically could explain to be in simple terms (or even post the code i'd need and tell me how to use it if that is easier than explaining what to do) to get this installed for him, I would be grateful. Thanks in advance if someone can help... I'm so confused
