i never heard of a imaging program clean a windows install, i do know that they overwrite exiting partitions, files , etc to the the image you have. Basiclly it kills all data on the partition it is imaged and then puts the image on tht partiton. I have my system configured as followed Hard Disk 1 (WD Raptor) Windows installation Hrad Disk 2 (WD SATA) Documents drive. Reason for this configuration is in the event i need to restore my last good image i do not need to worry about loosing my data.

There is no internet connection required to run XPCREATE, it is an option to do so but last time i attemped to do it, it fail do to the fact the links are to MS site which require WGA validation. I work around was to pay each link a visit and download it manual, and validate windows manual.

did you backup the orginal registry before editing the needed keys. During the first install of IF7 B3, did you keep the install log as well. Other then that, which method did you follow first and then last.

I have Office 2007 Beta installed with the exception to Outlook. As i need my outlook 2003. i have other office 2007 needed software installed.

how intresting, all my unattended installs, i have set to auto-login and then i call MS for activation never have a problem with that.

not sure if the services or softare you are using will not allow this, but my network i have setup a network group policy that enforces Power Save options. the key bard and the computer have sentimental value then that is a prblem, if itis a just the computer then replace the keyboard. as for repairing it, you woul d need to find a keyboard of the same model, year and manufact to ensure circut compat.

may be silly, but what about XPCREATE

playing media, espcially mp3 in the backgroud would require Windows Media Player, however their is some players that can do that as well but require some intense configureation.

The question is during Windows setup, if that is the case, you will not be able to do so, as their would not be any support for that format nor any media player to play it for you. You are out of luck if that is the case. If you are creating a custom setup of another application (Windows is installed and fuctioning) then i is a matter of editing a few line in the script or adding the script for it.
