Ahhh I didn't know to look for that file or how to post correctly. The log showed no updates, so I tried again and it works now . The filenames weren't changed but I may have had them in the wrong folder. Thank you for the tip.

The HFSLIP process worked fine (with SP2 and about 50 updates) and I installed WinXP off my new iso. Add/remove progs shows 'HFSLIP Total Slipstream'. My prob is that it still goes and downloads all the updates. I've tried running through the HFSLIP guide 3 times and reinstalled a few variations - all with the same result. Anyone know what I may be doing wrong? Is this some common newbie mistake? (I'm just about to turn in for the night so I won't reply for 8hrs but would appreciate any help all the same).
