Would anyone be able to help me, I install aload of applications through WPI about 40 but alot of these applications put themselves on the start menu so after reboot I have about 6 or 7 apps automatically running . All I want running is my antivirus... etc as the rest are not essential. I will soon be adding more applications and I will continue to encounter this problem. Is there anyway I can stop this ? Thanks for every1s help with this! I have now got this to work. I change the order in the runonce in the NTSIF. Would anyone please be able to help. I install internet explorer 7 from runonce and it installs fine but it seems to change the windows theme to classic for some reason even tho I have a theme change in the WINntsif. Everything worked ok before I added the IE part.

Iv just tryed to run my WPI setup as I have done a few times to configure it I am know presented with a white screen and nothing happens. Iv tryed other WPI.hta set ups I have on cd and the same happens with them. Could anyone explain wot might be wrong? I have spent 16+ hours configuring 70 applications and its all gone wrong for no reason. Iv even tryed replacing MSHTA.exe with no luck. All seems to run ok in VMWare but when I run manually outside of it still getting white screen. Thanks

Could you possible be abit more specific on what line to change. Iv checked the file mentioned all looks like german to me im new to WPI and normally intergrate apps through hotfixes in nlite.

Would someone possible be able to tell me how I can remove the windows postinstall text and the two blue bars from the top and bottom. I have my own picture displayed in the background but these get in the way. Thanks

Would any one possible be able to tell me if there are any regtweaks to set the taskbar and start menu to start menu instead of the classic start menu?. And secondly is there a reg tweak to change the screen resolution to 1024 by 768 ?. Thanks

Could I possible pick someones brain over this at all please, $OEM$ $$ Resources Themes To Themes Folder [i have my theme here] And [shell] DefaultStartPanelOff = Yes CustomDefaultThemeFile = "%WinDir%\Resources\Themes\Theme.theme" [and i call it from here] But the problem I have during unattended setup when the theme is called from the winnt.sif file is that the Display Properties keeps popping up and asks me to apply it manually. Is there a reg tweak to automate this? Thanks

Iv been using this guide : http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=9878 for several hours now to try and change my default wallpaper for my un-attended xp cd. I use this reg key, Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\General] "BackupWallpaper"="c:\\windows\\web\\wallpaper\\img37.jpg" "Wallpaper"="c:\\windows\\web\\wallpaper\\img37.jpg" & i have placed the wallpaper in the WEB directory or the $OEMS$ but nothing seems to change andi get this error [ntfs.sys] is ever missing or corrupt. I have searched the forums but have had no luck finding a solution. Can anyone possible help? Thanks.

Right the mshta file copies over from the system32 file on boot but I still have to setup association between MSHTA.exe & WPI.HTA, I get this message : Windows can not open this file : wpi.hta Windows needs to know wot created it. When I do wot it asks the wpi menu comes up and all works well!

Iv found the file in ie7 which i have, Im not going to use this but i can you the file from it right. Ill give it a try! and il report back if it worked or not . Thanks for your help . I also see there may be some .dlls related to the file aswell.

I get the same error, when I remove my Internet Explorer via nLite from an Install-DVD. Does the file "mshta.exe" exist in your system32 dir? No, Is this an internet explorer file. I dont want to have to use ie 6 unless I have to. Ill find the file and try it in the system32 folder.

I am a complete novice to wpi and I have just started a project after reading the tutorial but my problem is that once my os has finished booting in vmware it asks me to link wpi.hta to a program? but if i double click on wpi.hta outside of vmware it opens up. There is no errors as such and iv searched the forum for answers. I thought it may have been because i have removed Internet Explorer 6 with nlite from project os!?. Can anyone possible help? Thanks

iv used nlite to strip my os but i know want to change the menu system. I want to delete the accessories folder. Iv tryed DEL command this works fine : DEL "%systemdrive%\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories But then i get this : Documents and Settings\Administrator\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\*, Are you sure y/n? How do i get it to automaticaly answer yes? or may be there is another way i can go about it? Thanks.
