what do you mean by clearing the cd? and i cant seem to get into the ms support center because i need to pay and thats bull its not my fault their product is faulty... can i take the files im missing from one computer running xp pro and put it on my computer having problems? would that work?

hey ive searched the web far and wide and i cant seem to figure out why it is that i have a totally legit copy of xp pro (sp1) and it seems to be missing files during installation i really need to get this pc up and running again long story short little kids messed up my computer... i dont know too much about the software and os side of things im more of a hardware kinda guy this will be the third time that i have deleted my partition and tried to do this all over again the missing files seem to always be driver.cab kodak_dc.icm iyuv_32.dll is it possible to download these files from somewhere and put them where they need to be to make windows run properly? am i just stuck up creek without a paddle??? what do i do?!? thanks for your time Extralucky
